Abstract. Product configurators are an emerging software technology, developed for helping companies in deploying mass customization strategies.
Among the various approaches, constraint-based techniques look particularly encouraging, for both their modeling capabilities and their efficiency. In this paper, we present our work on a product configurator based on Constraint Logic Programming. The system we propose integrates an existing configurator module with a reasoning engine written in SICStus Prolog.
